- It is a shame that all the cheap a$$ republicans weren't smack dab in the middle of that bridge in a big bus when it went down. It was obviously more important in the last decade to spend tens of billions killing people and destroying a foreign country than it was to invest wisely in our own.

- I wonder why this has been happening lately. Every time there is a disaster the first thought is money, not the loss of life, not the devastating loss of everything that is "normal". I am so sick of this feigned concern for people by conservatives.

- Hey, it's just Florida. The kid felt threatened by his sister and used the STAND YOUR GROUND law. No problem. The republicans have this all figured out. No background checks for anyone. Every American, Felon or not should have a gun.

- I have to say something. I hope all of you have figured out why Bush signed the law that protects gun manufacturers from being sued, I did. That party has a gun held firmly against the heart of this country and is as we write, we are the hostage and they are pulling the trigger.

- Funny how the GOP opposes background checks for gun purchaser's, but they are rabid about potential immigrants having one. Perhaps if the people wanting to become American disguised themselves as a gun the process would be much easier.
